It is in accordance with Nature and the need of time that great souls come down to the earth. In order to save humanity from the slot of dark clouds of atheism, ignorance and evils looming large in the atmosphere and to show the path of reality the divine power descended on the earth on 2nd February 1873 in the form of Samartha Sadguru Mahathma Sri Ramachandraji Maharaj (Lalaji Maharaj) at Fathehghar (U.P).

Raja yoga based on spiritual transmission which was neglected and gone out of use for many centuries has been brought to light by the efforts of Sri Ramchandra ji Maharaj (Lalaji) of Fathegarh (1873-1931). With a view to propagating this mission in the world, Sri Ramachandraji Maharaj (Babuji) of Shahajanpur (U.P.) (1899-1983), started Sri Ramachandra Mission in the year 1945 in the name of His Guru. Since then, it has made every effort to serve the humanity through the system of Shahaja Marg.

 

The sole aim of " Shahaja Marg" is God Realisation/Self Realisation. The system sets as the only ultimate goal of God realisation through worshipping God in a subtle way without keeping any purpose of material desires.

 

Keeping in mind the mission of Sri Babuji Maharaj, which is to propagate Spirituality among the masses, Sri Ramachandra Yogashram was established in Ballari on the day of Basantha Panchami, the 2nd February 2008. This Ashram is situated in the calm environment of Guru Shanthappa Layout, Nehru Colony, Ballari and 3 Km away from Royal Circle.

 

Regular Satsang (Group  Meditation) is conducted on

• Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5.30pm and 6.30pm;

• Sundays morning between 8.00am to 9.00am, followed by spiritual discussions.

 

The founders' day is celebrated every year on the 2nd Saturday and Sunday of July. On these 2 days Meditation and Spiritual discussions are conducted both in morning and evening. Abhyasis from different parts of India  participate in the celebrations.
